Course Instructors

Christine Robenalt, P.T. MPT

Christine Robenalt, P.T. MPT was an early adopter of telehealth beginning in 2010. She capitalized on experiences at the V.A. and with contracting agencies that led to expanding telehealth services to students attending virtual schools and then brought live video visits to pediatric home care. In 2015, Christine sat on the Telehealth Work Group for Early Intervention Colorado and co-authored the provider training that is still utilized today. Christine Robenalt is a wife, mom, and pediatric physical therapist. Christine teaches about mindfulness, meditation, breathwork and sensorineuromotor integration in order to guide parents and children to support and stretch with ease toward their desired outcomes.

Melanie Criss, OTD, OTR/L

Dr. Melanie Criss is a pediatric occupational therapist, as well as founder and CEO of Community Therapy Services, a company that has specialized in telehealth occupational therapy services for school-aged children since 2009. She is also the co-founder and CFO of TelehealthShare. Dr. Criss has multiple publications on the topic of telehealth and has presented on the topic of telehealth on numerous occasions at national, state, and local conferences, as well as at various universities.

Jana Cason, DHSc, OTR/L, FAOTA

Dr. Jana Cason is a professor in the Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy at Spalding University, founder and CEO of TelehealthShare LLC, and a pediatric occupational therapist. She is a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association with past leadership positions within AOTA and the American Telemedicine Association. Dr. Cason co-authored numerous telehealth standards and guidelines, book chapters, monographs, and articles and is widely cited by authors across disciplines. Dr. Cason serves as Senior Associate Editor of the International Journal of Telerehabilitation, an open access, peer-reviewed, PubMed indexed journal.

    A Certificate of Completion will be provided to all learners who participate in this course and successfully complete the CE course post-test.     This on-demand course is intermediate level. The information is geared to practitioners with some knowledge of the subject matter.

Instructional Methods

Live Webinars include presenter and participant interaction. Multimedia formats are used during instruction including a live video feed of instructor, PowerPoint, supplemental videos, interactive polls, and/or chat discussion.


On-demand courses include video and audio recordings of live webinars with multimedia formats described above.

Assessment of Learning Outcomes

Learner outcomes are assessed through the CE post-test for live, on-demand, and self-paced learning modules. Post-test questions are based on learning outcomes listed in the course descriptions. 

Course Completion Requirements

1. Record of attendance (recorded automatically by webinar system).

2. Verification of learner identity (attestation statement on post-test).

3. Successful completion of the post-test (≥ 70%)

4. Completion of CE Course Evaluation with brief reflection on application of knowledge.

Policy and Procedures for Activity Cancellation by TelehealthShare

Live webinar trainings may be canceled by TelehealthShare LLC if no more than 5 registrations have been received 24 hours prior to the training or when a speaker emergency arises. Refund for the full amount paid will be credited to accounts within 24 hours of cancellation. Learners will be notified by email before the training start time. Learners must reply to verify receipt of the email notifications.


Policy and Procedures for Activity Cancellation by the Learner

Learners may cancel their registration up until the start time of the training. Refunds will be issued following the guidelines outlined for TelehealthShare cancellations listed above.
